Dyfed-Powys Police opts for Sepura

"Following extensive evaluation, the Sepura radios were chosen as they best suited the operational needs of Dyfed-Powys Police" commented Superintendent Gary Evans, Business Change Programme Manager of Dyfed-Powys Police. Sepura’s advanced mobile gateway and the latest handportable radios have been ordered by Dyfed-Powys Police in Wales. The mobile gateway, the SRG2000, will enable officers in locations normally void of handportable radio coverage to communicate with the TETRA network. This represents a vital operational improvement for the Dyfed-Powys Police Force responsible for a vast territory of rugged and exacting terrain, the largest in Wales. Peter Walker, UK Business Director for Sepura said, “This contract confirms yet again the position of Sepura as the leading supplier of TETRA radios to the Police. To date, more than 30 Police Forces in the UK have chosen Sepura. We are proud that our products contribute to police officer safety.”
