Bergamo Bus in Italy selects Sepura to provide it Voice and Vehicle tracking radios

NEWS BRIEF Bergamo Bus has selected Sepura’s SRM2000 TETRA mobile radio as part of its new advanced passenger transport management system. The SRM2000 with an integral GPS receiver will provide information to the command centre that will enable the position of the vehicle to be determined to within a few metres. This order was won in conjunction with GEG Telecomunicazioni, Sepura’s local Italian systems integrator. GEG will provide the full bus management system including control centre applications, bus applications as well as the bus stop and traffic information systems. Jens Thostrup said “We are extremely pleased to have been selected for this application. The SRM2000 with its integrated GPS has now been selected by a number of bus operators around the world which not only demonstrates the strengths of our products but also of our selected partners”.
